Following the market's trends but also taking our risks in new techniques and applications, we continuously introduce to our customers new products realized with a dry pressing technique, for those not presenting particular difficulties because of the relief or the diagram, with a wet one for those having pronounced reliefs or special needs, or by tieing when the structure of the product needs it. The resulting product will be then decorated by hand or on the line, depending on its type and baked in express furnaces or traditionally in intermittent ones. The paste used for the majority of our products is the white one for coverings, but it's also common the use of terracotta for those products that are either peasant or dealt with particular methods, like the typical waxing of the cotto. For the most technical pieces we use a glazed paste. |
